Everybody has longings that are so deep

Secret wishes in our hearts that we keep.

If a magic lamp appeared before you,

Will you ask the genie for a love that's true?

Will you choose love over fame?

Wherein you have an infamous name.

But the right man's existence in your life

Will fulfill your dream to be a good wife.

Will you choose love over wealth,

And long to always have good health?

So you can spend with him an eternity

In his comforting arms there is serenity.

From tears your eyes are damp

Cheer up! Here's the magic lamp.

One wish is all you got--

"Genie, I won't ask for gold in a pot."
