"Togetherness Rings"

Marriage is not "here today, gone tomorrow"
For this will only bring you sorrow
Marry not for benefits but for love
Asking guidance and strength from Above

Wear this togetherness rings
Being one no matter what life brings
Share the joys and burdens of one another
As you fulfill the duties of a father and a mother

Trials in loife are merely tests
They will reveal where your faith rests
It is in times of heat that gold is refined
A time also where true love is clearly defined

Three sets of footprints not only two
That of the husband, wife and God, too
Walking hand in hand along the shore
Loving each other all the more

(from Armie Jane's Poems Of Love 3: Togetherness Rings)

"The Magic Lamp"

Everybody has longings that are so deep
Secret wishes in our hearts that we keep.
If a magic lamp appeared before you,
Will you ask the genie for a love that's true?

Will you choose love over fame?
Wherein you have an infamous name.
But the right man's existence in your life
Will fulfill your dream to be a good wife.

Will you choose love over wealth,
And long to always have good health?
So you can spend with him an eternity
In his comforting arms there is serenity.

From tears your eyes are damp
Cheer up! Here's the magic lamp.
One wish is all you got--
"Genie, I won't ask for gold in a pot."

(from Armie Jane's Poems Of Love 2: The Magic Lamp)

"A Lonely Huntress"

Searching for love like a hunter
To fill your heart's loneliness and hunger
The arrow of love is ready to be shot
But uncertain who deserves it a lot
Who can read our hearts but God?
To know who's the worthy lad
For he can feel our lonesomeness
And the need for genuine happiness
We're the ones who make our fate
But for acts of God, let us simply wait
Let us lift our hearts and eyes to Him
Not hunt for someone on a whim
The divine force will guide our future
As we become spiritually mature
Waiting doesn't have to be a boring quest
For good people deserve what is best!

(from Armie Jane's Poems Of Love 1: A Lonely Huntress)
